A custom gaming PC enthusiast showed off his prowess with a palm-sized build that can fit in a lunch box. If you think the Steam Deck is a little small, get ready to receive a lunchbox-sized treat that can also run Cyberpunk 2077.
Assembled by Reddit user Msystems, the lunchbox-sized gaming PC uses an ASRock DeskMini x300 motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G gaming processor. The entire assembly is housed in a 3D printed case that requires only 75 watts of power to operate.
Using the adapter on the rear M.2 slot, you can optionally connect a dedicated GPU. Additional images show it in action, but the power limitations mean the RTX 4090 won’t fit. Not to mention, the entire assembly is less than half the size of the most powerful graphics card to date.
According to the creator, its insanely small build came from a desire to have something as portable as a laptop while still being a “desktop platform”. This nano rig can run games like Cyberpunk 2077 at around 30FPS at 1080p, which is probably on par with Steam Deck. In this regard, it’s not the best gaming PC when it comes to performance, but the fact that it’s barely taller than a can of cola is definitely an eye-catcher.
