Avalanche Software in partnership with Warner Bros. are starting a series of developer diaries, where they will reveal the behind-the-scenes details of the creation of Hogwarts Legacy. The first issue is dedicated to the musical accompaniment of the action about the magical world of “Harry Potter”.
The lead composer at Hogwarts Legacy describes his work on the game as the most amazing adventure of his professional career. The development team gathered under its wing a whole team of musicians who wanted to not only use familiar compositions from the Harry Potter universe, but also create something new, just as memorable.
The soundtrack for Hogwarts Legacy was inspired by the early Harry Potter films. Of particular importance to them were the musical compositions of John Williams, who made the first three films so memorable. In the game, they wanted to repeat his approach and focus on different musical instruments that allow you to emphasize the magical atmosphere.
Hogwarts Legacy launches February 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Switch.
