Yesterday, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition was released on PC, Xbox Series X and S, and PS5. The re-release brought with it a variety of improvements both visually and in some game mechanics. But many users on PC, and judging by the video below, on consoles, have encountered performance problems.
On modern consoles, the game has two modes – 30 FPS and 60 FPS, but there is no stable 60 frames per second – during gunfights, the indicator easily drops to 45 and below. On PC, things are so bad that the game currently has “Very Negative” reviews based on 139 reviews, of which only 19% are positive, and most of them berate the mediocre technical part.
