Developers from the Moscow studio Mundfish. Still gearing up to release their ambitious first-person shooter Atomic Heart this winter, they’ve unveiled some new screenshots of their upcoming project.
A few weeks ago, the developers announced that they would soon announce a release date.
Atomic Heart is set in an alternate retrofuturistic version of the Soviet Union. The protagonist of the game is P-3, a secret agent sent to secret base number 3826, where he must find out why contact with the personnel was lost. Once the protagonist reaches the destination, he discovers that the machines present there are set against humanity. What’s even worse is the fact that there are hordes of zombies walking around the complex. They are victims of Dr. Stockhausen’s experiments. The protagonist finds out what exactly happened by searching the territory of the facility.
Atomic Heart is expected to release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
