RoboCop: Rogue City is being developed by Teyon and published by Nacon. The game will release on PS5, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in September 2023. So far, only the month is known, but not the exact release date.
The game is based on the original trilogy of films and is a brand new adventure about the future of law enforcement. The game will feature the voice and appearance of Peter Weller, who portrayed Alex Murphy/RoboCop in RoboCop and RoboCop 2.
RoboCop, a neo-Detroit cyborg cop, is tasked with hunting down those responsible for the distribution of a new drug called Brain Drain. RoboCop is tasked with investigating possible links between the mayoral candidate, Omni Consumer Products, the company that created RoboCop, and Brain Drain. The game has nine large levels, each of which is divided into several sections. If the player dies, the level starts from the beginning. Each level consists of one main objective, several secondary objectives, and bonus objectives. The player must complete the main objective to complete the game, while other objectives increase the player’s final score.
