Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, the acclaimed sandbox RPG from TaleWorlds Entertainment, launches digitally and physically on PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox today. One X and Xbox One S. In Japan, the PlayStation versions of the game will be released on November 10. The game will also be officially released in full on PC, where it has been in Early Access since March 2020. On this occasion, the teams presented a new release trailer.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord combines realistic, immersive medieval combat with deep and challenging strategy elements on the massive sandbox continent of Calradia. The action takes place 200 years before the events of the previous game. M&B: Warband, in Bannerlord you can survive the collapse of the Calradian Empire and take on the role of protagonist in its decline… or its survival. Starting as a lowly warrior of one of the continent’s key factions, you can create your own history as you rise through the ranks to become a powerful warlord, even a king. Whether an adventurer or a merchant, a villain or a hero, a just lord or a cruel tyrant – write your name in the history of Calradia and create a new world from the ashes of the old.
This major move marks a key milestone in the history of the Mount & Blade franchise, recognized as one of the most successful and influential in its genre of all time. But TaleWorlds Entertainment notes that this is not the end of the road for the game, which will receive updates and content in the coming months.
