Hello Games today released No Man’s Sky Update 4.13 (PS5 version 4.013) for all platforms. This update also contains fixes for the Fractal update released a few days ago. Check out the March 9th No Man’ Sky Patch Notes below.
Error correction
- We fixed an issue where incorrect option settings were saved for options that are not currently applicable.
- We fixed an issue where the text of Speech to Text options was slightly smaller than other network options.
- Fixed a rare issue where some menu items were not re-translated when changing languages.
- We fixed an issue that caused a number of options to appear in irrelevant configurations where they had no functional effect.
- Fixed an issue where the Base Difficulty setting was incorrectly hidden on some platforms.
- Fixed an issue where the Gamma option would not display on some platforms.
- Fixed an issue that resulted in incorrect “Go Back” text prompt to appear on the save selection screen after adjusting settings.
- An additional level of control has been added to the Hold to Confirm option, allowing players to disable Hold to Confirm for most interactions, but keep it on for destructive actions.
- Fixed an issue that caused pending changes to option settings to be discarded when entering the options submenu.
- Fixed a bug due to which the highlight of inventory cells was displayed on top of pop-ups.
- Fixed a bug due to which the text on the main screen of the starship was cut off incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where text was clipping incorrectly in the milestone UI.
- Fixed a bug due to which the option to change build / quick menu did not work on ships or exocrafts.
- Fixed an issue where the Sprint/Scan option had an incorrect description after applying the change.
- Fixed a bug due to which the contents of the refiner were lost when leaving the cargo ship.
- Fixed a number of rendering issues with planetary objects.
- Fixed a bug due to which some Twitch reward ships did not have a Venus sail.
- Fixed a bug due to which volcanoes could appear in the middle of previously built bases during the expedition to Utopia.
- Fixed a number of issues that could cause exocraft first person cameras to break.
- Fixed a rare issue that caused the debug button to appear on the UI.
- Fixed an issue that could cause baseline screenshots to display incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where the sprint/scan toggle option did not work when using VR controls.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Personal Force Field to incorrectly attach to the arms when using the DualShock4 to control the PSVR.
- Fixed an issue where players could see the VR pointer helper for other players while they were building a base.
- Fixed an issue that caused the menu projector on the VR wrist to be too loud.
- Fixed an issue where some PC VR users were unable to adjust the terrain edit size.
- We fixed an issue resulting in a slight delay when using Analysis Visor in VR.
- Fixed an issue where galaxy map UI messages were displayed in the wrong position in VR.
- Fixed a bug that affected the rendering of particles in VR.
- Fixed a number of issues that could cause in-world UI screens to intersect with world geometry or otherwise display in the wrong position when playing in high-resolution VR.
- Fixed an issue preventing smooth switching between mouse/keyboard controls and PlayStation pads on PC.
- We fixed an issue that caused controller bindings to conflict when rotating base parts with Xbox and PlayStation controls.
- Fixed an issue that caused flashes/incorrect brightness during warp on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
- Fixed an issue where Patch Notes on Switch were using too small font.
- Fixed a mission blocker that could affect Switch players in the Trace of Metal mission.
- Fixed a mission log issue that affected Switch players when completing Nexus missions that require a Quad Servo.
- Fixed an untranslated text ID that was displayed on the teleport screen when playing Trace of Metal on Switch.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent freighter bases from properly syncing in multiplayer.
- Multiplayer group invites and friend invites now keep track of whether the receiving player is currently busy and give better feedback to the sending player.
- Fixed a performance issue with corrupted technology popups.
- Fixed a bug due to which some metadata important for mod authors was removed.
- Fixed a memory leak related to re-changing language settings.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a freeze when loading saves with complex bases.
- Fixed a rare crash related to discovering plants or minerals aboard the space station.
- Fixed a crash related to database synchronization in multiplayer.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when saving with a very large number of openings.
- Fixed a crash related to particle rendering.
