The developers from Iron Gate AB have presented an animated trailer for the massive Mistlands update, marking the end of public testing and the availability of the update for everyone.
Mistlands is the first expansion of the Valheim biome system with a host of brutal environmental additions including new weapons, new creatures, building and crafting materials, and a new boss.
It’s important to note that the Misty Lands biome will only generate in areas you haven’t unlocked yet. Therefore, if you have already explored most of your world, you’d better start a new one in order to be able to travel to the Misty Lands. As usual, mods can also cause the game to not launch as they are only compatible with the latest Live version of the game. If you have mods, you will either have to uninstall them or wait for the mod to update before you can play.
