An enthusiast scanned all the manuals for the PlayStation 2 in 4k and posted it in the public domain

In the good old days, PlayStation 2 game boxes came with little brochures that contained various tips and guides for the game. An enthusiast named Kirkland spent $40,000 to assemble a collection of PS2 games, after which he scanned all the manuals from his collection in 4K resolution and made them available to the public. The archive weighs 17 gigabytes, it contains 1795 games, plus about a hundred artbooks, mini-guides and comics.

In an interview with Kotaku, Kikrland said he spent about a year scanning over 75,000 pages in order to preserve the history of the games.
