The third major update for the asymmetric multiplayer action game Back 4 Blood from Turtle Rock is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S today, December 6th. At the same time, the paid addition River of Blood will also be released.
The addon adds the sixth act to the game, including five new chapters, a new cooperative PvE mode, 11 new maps, 2 new weapons, new Cleaner skins and much more.
Over the past 14 months, Back 4 Blood has received several updates to improve areas that have been criticized by the community. As mentioned above, one of the biggest problems was the sheer complexity. And while the developers largely nerfed some things to make the game less hardcore, that didn’t stop the studio from subsequently releasing a patch that added an even harder mode.
